FAUX BEEF STEW
Faux Beef Stew installed in the galley aboard the USS Olympia Independence Seaport Museum Philadelphia, PA

This faux beef stew was created specifically for the copper in the galley aboard the historic USS Olympia, the oldest steel warship afloat in the world. The Olympia is docked in the Delaware River along Penns Landing in Philadelphia, PA, part of the Independence Seaport Museum.
Bread and Sandwiches
“Bread and Sandwiches” pairs the likeness of everyday food items with the shapes and forms of everyday objects. Through simple manipulation of material and paint, paper towel rolls become sliced red onions, corrugated cardboard is transformed into crinkle cut pickles, and disposable coffee cups become potato chips. The work is suspended from above, as a kind of mobile, animating the sculptural food forms and engaging with space. This dimensional presentation aims to involve viewers with the work and thus connect us to our shared human experience through food.
